num-nums Blue and Gold Macaw baby

one morning i woke up to hear my macaw sreaming (louder than normal) and saw her on the ground with an egg on the ground (she is a b&g macaw) and her mate was just watching her and then we knew she was haveing eggs we had no idea she was preggers so we ran down stairs and saw 3 eggs we took her out of the cage with her eggs and put her in a nice warm room and we nicely made a small nest 4 her a few weeks later we was going to feed her and she was getting on agrassive and notice that she was moving about alot and not letting us come near her only to feed her .

we looked around and saw her fav toy and picked it up and call her to it and she flew from her nest and only to see '4' baby macaws moving about we was so happy but we did not know hot to take care of a baby macaw but we knew she was going to take care of her not know that she had died the ver next day .......ok that is my story the babies are fine in new homes we kept 2 and the mother mate died of hunger (lol jk) he died of old age (and in the picture is a pic of her son) num-nums

tragic day for a parrot
by: Sandra D Singh

Hi Lara, first of all I'm very sorry for your bird, she's very precious; may her rest in peace and God bless her dear soul. She had given you her dear little children before she passed. Maybe there were complcations and the pain was too much for her to bear and she passed; poor thing.

BUT I do have one question for you though, DO YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF lol? This is NOT a time to laugh out loud sweetheart! When my birds die I can't stop crying for days and right now I've tears in my eyes because it is so very sad. I lost a bird only 4 months ago and I still cry whenever I think of her. Anyhow do take care of your other birds and God bless.
