Don't mix species in a cage

No, you can not put these birds together. In fact, even if you purchase another bird of the same species, you have to keep them in separate cage for a while.

First, the new bird needs to be quarantined and have a vet visit to make sure it doesn't bring home a disease to the older bird. Second, you don't know if the birds will get along. It may take a week or longer for them to get along and they may NEVER get along.
