untidy feathers

(im sorry for any spelling error's im not a good speller)
my italian ring neck's feather's are all ruffled and seem to be laying on top of each other in the wrong way and some of his feathers are goung darker around his head.
there is a white dove in there to but he is quite dosile and where having no problem's with him .
