The plain facts are that your bird is very, very sick, and will die without being taken to an Avian Vet in your driving area. Go ahead and take your bird into an avian vet to be examined, diagnosed and treated and then work out a payment plan with them. Do not miss any of the agreed upon payments, and you will then have future credit with these people. If you do not even try to help your bird, then it is your responsibility when he dies, and he will.

Vomiting is caused by either a viral or bacterial infection or some other physical issue, and the situation is very bad for your bird. I understand about money as I'm disabled with two parrots and 4 dogs, and unless you try and help your bird, you will always regret it. Most avian vets will work with you on payments if you cannot pay cash upfront, so do not give up on your bird until you have worked to get him treated. This means getting up and getting him into an Avian Vet immediately. He may die anyway, and at least you can say that you did your very best to help him. This will go a long way in helping you sleep nights once this is settled one way or the other.

So, go ahead and make an appointment with an Avian Vet ONLY in your driving area. Later, take the time to work out a payment plan with them so your bird can get the medical services he needs, and you can make payments instead of a large lump sum upfront. If you are not willing to try and help your bird, my suggestion is to have NO more birds or pets of any kind because birds have to go to an avian vet, and other pets have to go to regular dog and cat vets. All birds and other pets do get sick or injured at some time, and it is the law that we take them to either an avian vet or regular dog and cat vet. Food, shelter and medical services are the three legal requirements in every state, and so know and understand that before ever having pets in the future.

Let us know what Avian Vet has to say about your bird and I wish the very best outcome for all of you.

Bird vomiting and no funds for vet
by: Tracie

Most avian vets will take payments, so it is possible for you to take your bird to an avian vet.

I am wondering if your bird is throwing up or regurgitating on things? If your bird is actually throwing up undigested food, then if you don't take your bird to an avian vet for treatment it will likely die.
