water in baby lorries cage?

i have a younge rainbow lorrie that has just stopped hand feeding about a week ago i was wondering if i put water in his cage or is just the water mixed with his meals enough?

 All birds need fresh water

All birds need fresh water in their cages. You should also provide fresh water for the bird to bathe in once in a while. Make sure you take out the bath water after an hour, so the bird doesn't drink water filled with bacteria etc.
