How much should a one year old female Quaker weigh? She only weighs 3 grams. Thank you.

I think you must be mistaken about her weight. Even newborn birds would weigh more than 3 grams which is nothing. Birds are weighed in grams, but 3 grams would indicate your bird has just about starved to death.

You will need to take her to an Avian Vet's office to get a proper weight on her and to have her examined. The fact that you are asking indicates she may be underweight. If you can see and/or feel the keel bone which is the breast bone, then she could be starving to death. Keel bones should never be seen and should also not be easily felt if bird has good weight. Sick and starving birds will have prominent keel bones which means birds need medical assistance immediately and/or in the case of young baby birds, need to be handfed longer.
