wet feathers above my lovebirds nostral

i noticed tonight that my lovebird has wet feathers right above her nostral holes, there is no blockage it just looks a bit wet. she is eating fine and is active it being night its hard to tell if she is as active as normal I am really paranoid. do you no if this is a cause for alarm, her dropings look normal and she is not wobbly at all.

By the time they have runny stool and get wobbly, they are near death from an infection. Take your bird to the nearest Avian Vet to be diagnosed as to what kind of bacteria this is and treated with the appropriate medicines.Do not use any over the counter meds even those and especially those found in a pet store. Until you know what kind of infection this is, you won't know with which meds to treat it.

Please do not wait any longer, because once the bird is well into this infection, death is a possibility. You are not being paranoid, you are listening to your "still small voice", and you need to take action as it is right on the money.

Wet feathers around nares

Yes, this is cause for alarm and your bird needs to be examined by an avian veterinarian immediately. It sounds like a nasal discharge which is a sign of upper respiratory disease.
