what does this mean?

my senagal parrot will often lower his wings, open and close his beak making a squeeling noise and walk around in circles? I was just wondering if you were aware of what this could mean? It looks like he is nervous

Bird lowers wings

Body language in birds is often difficult to interpret. You should look at the behaviors in context to what is happening at the time. If he is on top of his cage, then this could be aggressive behaviors about territoriality. It could be play behavior. It could be nervousness, but I don’t think that is the most likely. Be sure your bird is healthy by taking him to see an avian veterinarian for annual check ups and vaccines.

It could be nervousness or courting behavior or flirting or playing and other possible body language.
