What happen to my bird?

As Tracie said, your bird needs to be examined by an Avian Vet as soon as is possible. If you recently had a bird die, then this one is sick too, and will not get well until he is diagnosed and treated by a licensed and trained avian vet.

The other issue here is wing trimming. Unless you are very experienced with trimming bird's wings, have an avian vet do it a couple times a year. You only trim the 6 long Primary Flight feathers which are the long ones at the ends of each wing. If you trim up higher, your bird is in a world of pain and will fall like a rock and be injured. Clipping just the long primary feathers allows them to glide gently to the floor and not drop like a rock.

In this case, your bird is sick, and by not knowing how to trim wings you may also have caused it needless additinal suffering. Hopefully, this is not the case, and your bird will die without proper medical services provided by an avian vet.

Thanks for writing,

Bird having seizures
by: Tracie

I am so sorry this is happening. It sounds like your bird is having a seizure. You need to Find an Avian Vet to take your bird to be examined.

Sometimes this is because the breeder had bred birds that are not healthy, sometimes it is because you are not feeding your birds a healthy pellet diet like Harrison's. There are just a number of things it could be, so taking the bird to an avian vet is the best thing to do.
