what kind of bird is this

Someone gave me this bird and they were unsure as to species of it. We know its a female, 10-12 inches long, supposed to have a talking ability but hasn't talked yet, does copy sounds, and is fairly tame. Can't figure out the species even though I've looked and looked. Anyone know what she is?

Thanks you all for the help I will definitely delve more into the ringneck species information. So far she's been a little scared but I think shell come around.

She looks like a yellow Ringneck Parakeet and is very beautiful. The yellow is a mutated color and is very special. You lucked out here and congratulations!
