Yellow Quaker Parrot care
by: Tracie

It does look like a yellow Quaker parrot. You should feed your bird 80% high quality pellets like Harrison's or Roudybush pellets and only 20% healthy treats, and that includes seeds.

If your bird doesn't eat pellets now, or eats unhealthy colored or chemical laden pellets, then you can use this Switching Birds To Pellets article for help in converting your bird to a healthy diet.

Quakers need a large cage and providing strips of paper for the bird to weave in the cage bars etc. will help to keep it happy. They love to weave huge nests in the wild.

What kind of parrot

It looks like a Lutino Quaker parrot. Quakers are usually green but do come in other hybrid colors like blue, white or yellow. One characteristic of Quakers is their long tail. I couldn't quite get a good look at your bird, but research Lutino and see if they match.
