what size is Female Sun Conure &The Male

hi at our house we have a Sun Conure but my brother took the bird to the vet & the vet said it was girl but my family & me want to know if is male or female because the bird is small

You cannot visually sex sun conures in any way. Not even by size. Size difference doesn't indicate the sex of the sunnie. It's only an individual thing. You just have a small one & a larger one...

A vet can only sex the sun conure by DNA. If your vet has not DNA'd your bird then it hasn't been properly sexed & your vet is most likely guessing. The only other way is to wait to see if either of them lay eggs & there is no guarantee this will happen either. Some female sunnies can go a lifetime without laying an egg.
