What type of Parrot is my parrot?

What he does when he is listening

I've had this and was never really sure what kind of parrot. He talks and dances it's really cool. A picture is sent with this question. My mother says he is a Rain Forest Guam.

Green cheek

I have a green cheek conure, and that's just what it looks liketo me. they are very sweet and affectionate and very intelligent. good problem solvers. be carful what you feed him though. no fruit seeds and absolutely NO advocodoes. they are toxic to green cheek conures.

How to figure out what kind of parrot you have

Please look at the conures pictured on the Conure Information page and see if you find your parrot. If not, you can explore other parrots on the Parrot Information page too.

He has a Green body and a bit of grey up near his beak and a grey beak. he had some blue on his feathers in his back area. and a bit of orange on his stomach. Your answer would explain why I could never find anything on Guam parrots. Thanks for your answer, I will look up that type of parrot. Thanks again!

What type of Parrot is my parrot?

He looks like a Nanday Conure but it is hard to say for sure as the picture is not clear. Nanday's have some black on their heads and necks and a basically green body. I could not tell if his body is green or not.

I've never heard of the Rainforest Guam and don't know if that is a parrot species or not. You can do a search on the internet for Nanday Conures and see if they look like yours.
