Good news!!

Thanks! Lukily her shaking has decreased by alot & I noticed this morning, as she was sitting on her perch, that she shakes when I whistle to her or talk to her. Is this still normal? And I was wondering , is the tip of her beak suppose to be black?

Thanks , Ash .

Your bird is either cold, or is scared.
Birds will shake when they are scared. and since your bird is new, everything in your home is scary to him.

Have patience, it will take time. :)

Oh no :/
I hate to see my baby sick & not know what to do..
I'll get her on a pellet diet asap , do you think this will help her?

Yes, you need to be concerned. You also need to get the bird on a healthy, high quality pellet diet. You can read about two good pellets at these Harrison's and Roudybush pages.

To convert your bird to pellets, please read our Switching Birds To Pellets article.

I doubt shes eer seen a vet but I cant be too sure. Its still young & well idk if she only does it when I'm near.. I notice it and i put a blanket around her cage to try and help.. She eats seeds on her own now but she wont eat or even try any of the fruits left in her bowl.. Is this normal?
And aside from shaking, she has this habbit of going back and forth on her perch , should I be worried?

Bird is shaking
by: Tracie

If the bird only shakes when you are near, it could be excitement or fear. Be careful, sometimes a bird that has just been weaned will revert back to needing to be hand fed. Your bird could be begging for food. Over the Internet it is impossible to tell what is going on though.

If you suspect your bird may be sick, then please use this Find an Avian Vet link so your bird can get some help. If your bird has never been seen by an avian vet, then you should take your bird regardless to make sure it is healthy.
