Cockatiel shaking head

Your bird could have an inner ear infection, a bacterial infection or something else bothering it. Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird right away.

Birds that have water dishes they drink from and bathe in often get bacterial infections. The water has high levels of bacteria after 2 - 3 hours. Our avian vet recommends that birds have a water bottle instead of water dishes, and when you put water in for a bath to remove it after an hour.
