why my paraket is siiting on the bottom of the cage with the beak hidden in the feathers?

i don' t know what happen my bird is sitting on the bottom of the cage for the last 3 days eat and drinking fine i have all together 4 paraketts 3 are fine sitting on the top except this one i dont' know what can i do to help this paraket. since there are 4 they need alot of food , funny thing when this particular started sitting on the bottom of the cage i used a sour cream empty container put alot of food so this sick one can eat more since this one is sitting on the bottom he or she sttarted stting on the bowl i don't know what's wrong please let me know

Yes, your bird is sick, and needs the immediate attention of an Avian Vet in your driving area. Also, the other birds caged with this one need to be taken in as well because bacterial/viral infections are highly contageous and all birds living with a sick one are also infected just not showing it yet.

There is a link on this site for help in finding an Avian Vet if you don't know where one is. Find an Avian Vet Anytime you see deviations from normal behavior, your bird is sick and needs to be diagnosed and treated by an Avian Vet. Do not take birds to regular dog and cat vet as they will kill your birds. Avian Vets have to go to school for more years to learn how to diagnose and treat birds and other exotic animals, so they are licensed and trained in the correct procedures to find out what is wrong and treat it. Remember all the birds will need to go in if the one is diagnosed with an infection, so if Avian Vet is a ways off, take them all in at same time.
