wounded cockatoo leg not healing

my cockatoo got her leg caught in a toy. she keeps it clean but the sore wont close what can i do to help it heal

The wound is infected and must be diagnosed as to what kind of infection and then treated only by an Avian Vet in your driving area.

Do take bird in quickly as she could lose her leg over this. Infection will eat the leg up and it will have to be amputated without treatment.Bird can also die.
