My parrot Jewel has been having yellow chunks in her water. I do not know what it is. Please someone tell me!

Chunky Water

Do you feed Jewel pellets? My PGCC is given pellets and he dunks them in his water bowl. I have to change his water 2-3 times a day because of this. Maybe Jewel is doing the same.

It sounds like your bird may be vomiting up its food into the water. If this is happening, your bird is very sick and will need to be taken to an Avian Vet for an exam to diagnose what is wrong and offer treatment.

Take your bird to an Avian Vet only to make sure they know what they are doing. Please do not delay as this does not sound good at all.

Let us know what Avian Vet has to say and hope all gets taken care of and your bird is healthy again.
