What causes the yellow naped amazon to change color?
My yellow naped amazon has developed a totally yellow feather in one wing. This is the first time this happened in this 15 year old bird. What might be the cause?

Amazon parrot with feather color change

It could be a nutritional thing, but only your avian vet can answer this question. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird, if you don't take your bird for yearly exams.

Some birds do have color aberrations, but they don't usually wait to show up 15 years later.
