It could be a fungal infection or vitamin A deficiency. Your bird is sick and needs immediate medical attention from an avian veterinarian.

Your bird needs to be seen immediately by an Avian Vet in your area. We do have an Avian Vet who answers some questions, and their advice will be to take your bird to an Avian Vet as no one can diagnose an illness without seeing the bird and performing tests so they know what is wrong.

Thanks for writing and don't wait to take him to an Avian Vet as he needs to be looked at, diagnosed and treated.
