Zebra Finch - Eggs

Hello! I have a male and female finch. They've started laying eggs (about 1 egg every two weeks), I got them a nest after the first egg. The eggs are completly ignored, no one goes near them.

I know its hard on the woman to keep laying eggs, and I've read that it should only take her a week to fill the nest and start sitting on it. What should I do?
